On Saturday, August 30, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Ann Perrus; step-father of Nina Hall and Doug. Brother of Harry (Sophia) Perrus. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Perrus served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater as a medical corpsman. He served in the 6th Marine Division Fleet Marine Force in the Pacific, South Pacific, Guam and the Marshall Islands. Vice Admiral Jack Costello served in his final flag assignment as Commander, Coast Guard Pacific Area and Twelfth Coast Guard District. In retirement, he served as the first President and Chief Executive Officer of the Marine Spill Response Corporation.
